The Town of Hilton Head Island closed Tanglewood Drive and the adjacent pathway at South Forest Beach Drive on Monday, Oct. 5, 2026, for construction at 2 Tanglewood Drive. Closures run daily from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and are expected to last about four weeks. Areas north of the work remain reachable from Nassau Street. Detours are marked for drivers and pathway users.
